Elena is a Research Scientist in the Noyes lab. She studies mechanisms of programmable gene regulation mediated by zinc finger proteins.
Elena has a background in genome evolution and chromatin organization, epigenetics, virology, and omics-related cancer research studies using scRNA-seq and ST. Beyond the lab she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, rollerblading, swimming, environmental volunteering, and exploring cultural legacy of the area.
