The Benos Lab received a U01 grant to study the changes that occur in healthy lungs due to aging. We will collect and analyze single cell and bulk RNA-seq data and model the changes that occur in aging lungs and specific age-related pathways. Mouse experiments will be performed by our collaborators to validate the major findings.
