Harnessing 100,000 computers around the world to probe kinase activation, inhibition, and resistance
Human kinases play key roles in signaling pathways and are important drug targets in cancer. In this talk, we discuss how our laboratory uses distributed computing, probabilistic inference, and automated wetlab experiments to probe the role of kinases in biology and disease, develop new selective kinase inhibitors, and understand the emergence of mutational mechanisms of resistance in response to targeted kinase therapy.
