Please join us in congratulating Dr. Anne-Ruxandra Carvunis and her lab on receiving the Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) research grant! This prestigious grant promotes international collaboration and groundbreaking research. The Carvunis lab will collaborate with Erich Bornberg-Bauer (Faculty of Biology, University of Münster) and Christine Brun (Dept. of Theories and Approaches of Genomic Complexity, Inserm – Provence Côte d’Azur Marseille) on the funded project, entitled, “New Kids on the Block: how DeNovo emerged micropeptides rewire cellular networks.”  The project is one of 25 program grants awarded from a total of 596 letters of intent, 81 of which were selected for full application.
