Paper Accepted at Bioinformatics

Congratulations to Gabriel Kowalczyk for his first-author paper that was accepted at Bioinformatics!! In this work Gabriel and co-authors develop an image analysis tool that rapidly detects and measures biophysical properties of diffraction-limited spots in single-cell microscopy data. They demonstrate dNEMO (or ‘detecting NEMO’) using with single-molecule images of mRNA (smFISH) and time-lapse images of cytokine-induced signaling complexes that are enriched for NEMO protein. dNEMO has already become a staple analysis tool for projects in the Lee Lab. Check back in coming weeks for a link to the accepted paper once it is published online. An outdated pre-print version is currently available here (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/855213v1).
