Dimitris is a co-author in a paper entitled “Respiratory microbiome profiling for etiologic diagnosis of pneumonia in mechanically ventilated patients“, which was accepted in Frontiers in Microbiology. He used probabilistic graphical models to analyze microbiome data, protein biomarkers and clinical data to identify which variables are more directly linked to bacterial culture positivity.
