Quantitative Systems Pharmacology Advances
Precision Medicine and Drug Discovery

We have implemented Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) starting with three programs (Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, metastatic breast cancer and Huntington’s Disease). I will discuss the rationale of employing QSP in Pittsburgh, summarize the perspective of our external advisory board (EAB), give an update on our efforts to broaden financial support and summarize steps taken in the past year to respond to recommendations made by the EAB. I will also give a brief overview of the status of the three programs. I will finish by discussing how faculty members can take part in QSP programs.
